Longform Drop-in

Level: Intermediate

Longform is an opportunity to use all that you have learnt as an improviser, to play both as a group and as an individual. It can form deep group bonds and create extraordinary moments for players and audiences alike.

This drop-in will give improvisers the opportunity to engage in longform pieces as a group as well as practice the skills needed to make a longform piece come to life (editing, how to use theme and callbacks, drawing inspiration from a suggestion). While participants no not need to have prior experience with longform, participants should feel comfortable improvising longer scenes).

These drop-ins are energetic and playful, and each one is different.

Level: Intermediate (3 months+)

These classes will be opportunities to add tools to your growing toolbox. Normally these classes will expect players to be confident playing scenes. These classes will provide practise and specific new skills.

Time:

Every Wednesday from 19:30 – 21:30 UK Timezone.

Narrative Drop-in

Level: Intermediate

We love improvising stories. Whether improvising a dramatic play, or genre mash-up, improvisers are constantly being asked to utilize their narrative skills.

The Narrative Drop-in is a space to practice a variety of storytelling structures and the skills improvisers need in order to sustain longer stories (story spine, well-developed characters, building and sustaining a fictional world). While no previous experience with narrative improvisation is needed, participants should have significant experience with scene work.

These drop-ins are energetic and playful, and each one is different.
