Slowing down – Exploring the comedy in naturalism & truthful scenes

The word improv is sometimes synonymous with big, loud, and fast.
If you’ve ever found yourself wanting to go a bit slower or be more naturalistic in your style, this workshop will be right up your street.
Maria will help you to explore the other possibilities of improv. Finding the truth in the scene as well as the universal laughter that comes from audiences seeing themselves as flawed humans represented on stage.

By the end of these 3 hours you’ll feel more confident in creating scenes that can explore the full spectrum of the human experience.

Women’s workshops are an open and supportive creative space for women and non-binary people of all ages and experience levels.

These workshops run once a month, and they are stand-alone, so you can book one or come along every time. Each workshop is taught by a different teacher and focuses on a specific area of improvisation, and we have some exciting people lined up over the coming months!

Please note that all Nursery classes are 18+
