Level: Experienced

Your mother and father figures, siblings, grandparents, uncles and aunts – what a huge resource to draw from when you’re improvising on stage. The dynamics of families are something that humanity is profoundly interested in exploring. These dynamics can be painful and cringing but it can also be hilarious if looking at it from another perspective.

What to expect:

Finding strong characters inspired by people in your family that you would love to play

Exploring family dynamics to enrich our dramatic and comedic storytelling

Helping you make specific choices in a scene in order to create believable and delicious worlds

This workshop WILL NOT be a psychodramatic tool for you to solve issues with your family. Any therapeutic outcome will be merely a side effect of what we are striving to do.

Min. participants 6, max. participants 12. If we have to cancel the event due to low numbers, we will do this with 24 hours notice.

This experienced super-elective meets for 4 weeks 16th September – 14th October with a week off on 30th September.
