Level: Open

Building on the foundations of improv you already know, this course takes a closer look at how to make a ‘scene’ from nothing and the various characters we can bring to those scenes.

We’ll focus on practising the tools already learned plus adding a few more, including:

How to start a scene

How to find what’s fun in a scene

Using physicality and voice to bring new characters to life

Embracing failure!

A six-week course with a maximum group size of twelve, this is the ideal place to continue your improv journey.

Whatever the level of ability required, all of our classes are safe, supportive environments led by our experienced teachers. Please email us if you are unsure whether a class is suitable for you. If you sign up for a class inappropriate to your level the Nursery/Maydays reserved the right to remove you from the class without refund.

Min. participants 6, max. participants 12.

If we have to cancel the event due to low numbers, we will do this with 24hours notice (and you will receive a warning 48 hours before the course if this looks likely).

This Open course runs every Tuesday evening from 5th January to 9th February, 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm GMT

Open – A class for anyone, regardless of their improv experience. Although more experienced players are of course welcome, the content does not require any prior improv knowledge.
