online Improv elective: Welcome to the Wasteland

Level: Experienced

Are you a fan of Mad Max, The Hunger Games, and The Matrix? Want to improve your character, world-building, and genre range? You’ve come to the right Wasteland. This quick study genre workshop will take a dive into improvising within a dystopian science fiction world. You’ll learn how to develop three-dimensional characters that are gritty, dynamic, and endlessly watchable and how to shop hope and humour within a deliciously dark setting.

Workshop Includes:

A quick but deep dive into improvising in a Dystopian Sci-Fi world

How to develop gritty, dynamic, and watchable characters

How to show hope & humour within a dark setting

Skills for researching and developing specific genres for improv

If we have to cancel the event due to low numbers, we will do this with 24 hours notice.

This Experienced elective runs Sunday 5th Sept., 5.00-7.30 pm BST.

Experienced (12 months+) A class for skilful players, especially those who have finished improv training programmes at their school and are looking to widen their horizons. These classes will make the assumption that you are comfortable performing longform improvisation and will push you.
