online Improv elective: Forgotten Forms: LaRond-ommando

Level: Intermediate

As the name suggests, this form is a fusion of the 2-character, scenic form known as The LaRonde, and the quick-paced, audience-pleasing form called The Commando, in which improvisers take a new suggestion after every scene inspired by the previous scene.

Improvisers in this workshop will recreate the forgotten form called The LaRond-ommando in which runs of LaRonde scenes are edited Commando style.

What to expect:

Review of Commando and LaRonde forms and edits

Learn and perform LaRond-ommando form

Time-permitting students will learn and perform an additional forgotten form. Com-Montage (open Montage form with Commando editing) or Antifreeze form (all tag outs to the past).

If we have to cancel the event due to low numbers, we will do this with 24 hours notice.

This Intermediate elective runs Sunday 12th September, 5.00-7.30 pm BST.

Intermediate (3 months+) These classes will be opportunities to add tools to your growing toolbox. Normally these classes will expect players to be confident playing scenes. These classes will provide practise and specific new skills.
