Scenes that start clearly and boldly often continue that way. Those that don’t can sometimes flounder and stutter as they try to find their game, heart or inspiration. This class will give you a range of powerful ways to start a scene, and then continue what you have begun. Building from sound, shape, object work and words, you’ll learn how to be emotionally alive to what’s already happening. And how to power on confidently to leave anxietyand doubt far behind. After learning exercises you can use time and again when practising, even alone, you’ll never fear the top of the scene again.
Handling suggestions: how to get on the right side of suggestions, so we play in the areas we love.
Beating fear: how to find our emotional deal, to play with confidence and purpose.
Practising: beautiful reps, to practise what we preach straight away.
Connecting with our partner: how to tie strong but seemingly disparate initiations together.
Min. participants 6, max. 12.
