Curious to know what this ‘improv’ is all about? Or perhaps you are looking for a new way to approach creativity and teamwork? Our Beginners Course is the ideal place to start your improv journey.

Focusing on basic principles of improvisation such as teamwork, imagination, and “Yes, And…”, participants will learn a wide variety of group exercises and short form improv games (like those seen on *Whose Line Is It Anyway?*) designed to give participants a place to meet, explore, and laugh with students from all over the world.

This course will introduce you to key improv concepts including:

Recognizing the comedy in everyday situations.

How to say ‘yes’ to what’s fun.

Making bold choices without fear of judgment.

How to listen to your partner and connect with an audience.

How to create scenes and generate ideas from nothing.

This course is experiential, challenging, and above all, hugely enjoyable.

Whatever the level of ability required, all of our classes are safe, supportive environments led by our experienced teachers. Please email us if you are unsure whether a class is suitable for you. If you sign up for a class inappropriate to your level the Nursery/Maydays reserved the right to remove you from the class without refund.

Min. participants 6, max. participants 14.

Open – A class for anyone, regardless of your improv experience. Although more experienced players are of course welcome, the content does not require any prior improv knowledge.

We offer scholarships for all online courses in order to make sure that the fun and community of improvisation is available to as many people as possible across the globe.

Scholarships are available for all online courses.
