Online Longform 2 Improv Course

Level: Experienced

For experienced improvisers who have taken our Online Longform Course (or similar with another company).

This Experienced course runs every Friday morning for 6 weeks from 18th September to 23rd October, 10am-12 pm BST/GMT+1.

Experienced (18 months+) A class for skilful players, especially those who have finished improv training programmes at their school and are looking to widen their horizons. These classes will make the assumption that you are comfortable performing longform improvisation and will push you.

Deepen your understanding of how longform improv can work online and sharpen the skills learned in the previous course even more.

Focusing on how to embrace the online medium, digging further into scenework & partner connection, and pushing your own improv boundaries in terms of what is possible, this course will take you further into what online improvised longform can be.

This Experienced course runs every Thursday evening for 6 weeks from 10th September to 15th October, 7.30pm-9.30pm BST/GMT+1.

Building on a decade and a half of improv experience, The Maydays and The Nursery have been experimenting with online improv daily since the lockdown began and are now looking to share this knowledge. We are excited by the possibilities that the online space opens up and want to make work that is natively online, rather than a pale copy of the offline art form.

These classes will be opportunities to both expand your improv skills and connect with people from across the world, to share a laugh in challenging circumstances and build a valuable new improv skill.

These courses will run 6 weeks in an online zoom room – Please note our last class sold out in 24 hours so it’s best to book asap!
