Level One Taster Workshop

The Nursery is a particularly welcoming and non-threatening environment for a complete beginner

Intrigued by the idea of improv classes and want to find out what a class really feels like? Then the Nursery’s Level One Taster is what you are looking for. Led by an experienced member of the Nursery teaching staff, this session is ideal for beginners and will give you an introduction both to the fun of improv, and its benefits.

Improv classes at the Nursery use acting and comedy improvisation skills to help with creativity, confidence and mindfulness. Come join us for a little sample of just how much fun it can be.

A great preparation for the Nursery’s Level One course, the session starts with simple & fun group games, before moving on to pair and group work and even an opportunity to ‘perform’ in front of the class for those who want to.

Taster classes take place approximately every month.

I’m somebody who likes to squeeze the maximum amount of fun possible out of any given activity, and most other improvisers are exactly the same

Registration opens four weeks before the session, is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 16 people.

We are also pleased to offer diversity scholarships to all of our longer courses, so that improv is accessible to everyone
