Your body is your ultimate resource, your constant companion in everything you do. It is how we express to others and how we express to ourselves: our embodiment drives the way we think, feel and play.
In the online sphere we can get stuck in ‘thinking’, staring at computers and improvising from the neck up. This course will bring us back to playing and releasing the vast, untapped creativity within us. Add the HOW to the ‘who, what, where’ and see where it takes you.
So have a laugh, loosen up and enjoy the wonders of your body/face/voice to reveal new ways of playing and new characters. Recognise your patterns and discover how much more you have to offer.
Giving you tools that will enhance your enjoyment and range as an improviser, as well as being hugely beneficial to your every day life.
What to expect:
– playful movement and expression
– improvised scenes
– creating characters
– group games
– experimenting with rhythm, breath, shape and feeling
– personal embodied techniques to build confidence and manage nerves
(Tuesday) 7:30 pm
