Event Details

This club is for anyone aged 15-17 and runs online every Thursday after school from 16th September to 21st October. The last class on 21st October will include an optional Friends & Family showing.

Our online improv club is the perfect place for young folk to laugh, let loose, build confidence and meet friends all over the world.

This club allows young people to make up their own hilarious stories and scenes, with fun improv games that let the imagination run wild – and all this from your own living room!

Improvisation helps improve confidence, creativity, social skills, communication, and is a fantastic way to stay active and have some fun with other people the same age (though we are sure you are hilarious too).

Who are the teachers?

Our Improv Club teachers are some of the top improvisers around who have been performing and teaching for many years around the UK and at international improv festivals.

The main teacher for our 15-17s is Lucy Fennell: Lucy is a director, improviser and qualified teacher of English, Drama and all things creative. She is a member of Impromptu Shakespeare and enjoys using improv to explore the relationship between audiences and performers. She also works in TV and film making sure actors feel safe and comfortable. She has a dog called Doug who resembles a large jacket potato and can usually be found near the biscuit tin.

Our Improv Club teachers are: Francesca Reid (Dreamweaver Quartet), Victoria Hogg (The Offer Bank / DDG Improv), Jennifer Jordan (The Maydays/Impromptu Shakespeare), Jenny Rowe, (The Maydays/Impromptu Shakespeare) and Lucy Fennell (Impromptu Shakespeare).
