Molly Merwin is a Nursery Creative Assistant. She has been performing since she was two years old when she took the microphone from a grocery clerk and yelled “She-ra, Princess of Power!” over the PA system. It was at that moment Molly knew she had a knack for performance and yelling.
Molly has been performing in scripted theatre on and off for over fifteen years, but has been focusing on improv since 2011. Originally from Atlanta, she relocated to London from Denver. In Denver, Molly performed regularly at Voodoo Comedy Playhouse, Deer Pile, and Bovine Metropolis Theatre mostly with Carnival Code and with female duo team, Transplants. She was also a board member of the GroupMind Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to enrich, educate, and entertain the Denver community through the art of improv. GroupMind Foundation presents the Denver Improv Festival annually. Molly also writes and directs.
Molly has studied with iO, Second City, Voodoo Comedy Playhouse in Denver, and Village Theatre, Whole World Theatre and Relapse Theater in Atlanta. She has also studied with various other iO, UCB, and Second City instructors. You can see her in London with Careless Vespa and With Special Guesting.
