One of the most experienced and respected improv teams in the UK, The Maydays are 13 years old this year. They have played across the UK, Europe and the world, and this June they are bringing their signature brand of freewheeling black comedy and character-driven surrealism to The Nursery Theatre. Chortle described them as “one of the best improvised shows out there” and “a must see””. We agree.

Me Plus One – Improv With Two People is a two-time Edinburgh Fringe hit show which sees Edinburgh-based improviser Mark Craig (TBC Improv) joined by a different special guest improviser each performance to create an entirely new and unique two-person comedy show based off one word from our audience. There’s no rehearsal time, no format for the show and no safety net – just two performers figuring out how to work together in real time.
