And what a lovely new selection there are! As well as our signature Maydays Musical Improvisation Course, which was recently described as ‘more addictive than a crack filled brownie’, we are offering a new course called Longform and Scenework, which is all about making scenes, character and connections. Designed for people with some improvisational experience looking to expand their longform skillset and feel more confident in freeform improvisation, this is the course for you.
Oh, and if you can’t commit to full courses, we will still be doing our ever-popular Maydays Drop in classes every Saturday. Plus, starting on the 14th September, we have a new set of workshops we are calling Electives. A little longer and more detailed than the Drop in classes, they each concentrate on a particular area of improvisation, be it improvised solo songs, sci-fi or stage violence. Check out the full list of electives here.
